FAQs

NOOD products are not recommended for daily use and you should allow 72 hours in between usage to allow your skin to breathe. If you are using NOOD products for the first time we recommend a skin patch test first and wearing for no longer the 3-4 hours for the first few wears. Avoid wearing for extended periods of time in high temperatures as the adhesive can bond more intensively. We recommend a safe wear of 6-8 hours for experienced users. Please take extra care on sensitive or mature skin and remove immediately if you notice any irritation.

WHAT SIZE DO I NEED?

IIn between sizes? We recommend sizing up as NOOD bras can be trimmed smaller. You can also stack multiple bras together or wear a bra with Shape Tape to create a level of support that's right for you. Use our size guide to find your perfect fit.

HOW DO I APPLY ADHESIVE PRODUCTS?

Always wear nipple covers for protection under adhesive products. If you do not have nipple covers, you can also apply lotion or oil over the nipple area as this will prevent the product from adhering to sensitive skin. The Game Changer and Shape Tape are uniquely made with an all-natural, breathable hemp fabric and both can be layered to create your optimal level of support. Please note that areas covered with multiple layers of tape will naturally slow the evaporation of sweat, and there is a risk of developing water blisters in high temperatures or from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Make sure not to stretch or strain the adhesive tape or stickers as this can cause a tension injury. This occurs when the tape resists stretch and tries to regain its original shape, pulling at the skin and resulting in a tension blister, typically seen at the ends of the tape. ARE NOOD PRODUCTS WATERPROOF?

NOOD's Game Changer and Shape Tape are sweatproof and waterproof. These products have been developed with a strong, hypoallergenic, heat-activated adhesive that bonds to the skin more intensely as your body temperature rises. Please be aware that there is a risk of water blisters occurring in areas where sweat is produced faster than it can evaporate. Blisters can tear open upon removing the tape so please take care.

CAN I SUNBATHE IN ADHESIVE PRODUCTS?

We do not recommend sunbathing in adhesive products or wearing them in hot temperatures for extended periods of time. Doing so can make the removal process more difficult and cause abrasions or irritation. Please do not apply adhesive products to sunburnt, broken or irritated skin.

HOW DO I REMOVE ADHESIVE PRODUCTS?

Remove adhesive products using the NOOD Boob Savior spray. Please take extra care on sensitive or mature skin. Saturate the entire surface area of the tape in oil, covering the fabric completely, and leave for at least 5 minutes. The oil will help dissolve the adhesive and prevent any pulling of the skin during the removal process. After the oil has saturated the tape for 5 minutes, gently pick a corner with one hand and start to peel the tape off. Do this whilst holding the skin down and applying pressure just below where the tape is coming off with the other hand.

Step five remove with Nood adhesive remover or oil. Start from the bottom, gently peeling off.

If you are or may be allergic to adhesive, acrylic, elastane or similar products such as band-aids/ plasters, do not use NOOD adhesive products.

Carefully review and follow all instructions provided in the NOOD safety guide and that which accompany your product. Improper application or use of the product in any way that does not comply with these instructions, including overstretching and other failures to adhere to the safety guide, product instructions, and any cautionary statements, may result in skin irritation, rashes, blisters, abrasions, discomfort, or other physical injuries. Removal of the product can cause a slight pulling of the skin, a burning or stinging sensation, redness and/or similar changes in pigmentation.

Keep out of the reach of children. Do not wear longer than instructed and allow a minimum of 72 hours between usage. Do not wear on excessively hot days or subject yourself to the sun for long periods of time as this may cause your skin to overheat and can lead to skin irritation and injury. Stop use immediately if you experience itching, redness, irritation of the skin, burning, an allergic reaction, or any other discomfort whilst using the product and contact your healthcare provider. If you believe you have a medical emergency or any condition requiring immediate attention, you must still contact your healthcare provider.
