The 67th Annual Grammy Awards

On 2nd February 2025, the 67th Annual Grammy Awards were put on in Los Angeles, and naturally, we had to take a closer look at what some of our fave celebs were wearing on the red carpet. With a stunning array of designer statements on display from the music industry’s elite, the five key styles that jumped out to us here at Club L London came from Olivia Rodrgio, Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Chrissy Teigen and Kelsea Ballerini. We’ve scoured through our own pieces to show you how to get the look of each artist’s elevated and unique style, so you can upgrade your occasionwear wardrobe today.

OLIVIA RODRIGO

Capturing the attention of us all instantly in her archival look from Versace was the ‘good 4 u’ star, Olivia Rodrigo. Balancing a bold sense of elegance and edge with her backless black maxi dress, the American singer-songwriter showcased a sleek silhouette with contemporary cutout details and an incredibly good halterneck style. As it claimed to be her most dramatic red carpet style to date, the look still appreciated her youthful yet sophisticated aesthetic, which we just know you all want a part of. Her choice explained her keen eye for fashion perfectly, defying classic design codes with a modern flair.

TAYLOR SWIFT

Following Rodrigo, the Grammy nominee Taylor Swift made her appearance known and impactful with a custom, shimmering red mini dress from Vivienne Westwood, as per her 2021 album’s namesake. Doing things her way, the singer rocked a beaded garter beneath the dress with a small ’T’ embellishment as an ode to both Taylor and her beau, Travis Kelce. The look was not only bold but the utmost glamorous in the scene, reflecting Swift’s ever-evolving style and ‘reputation’. She’s never been one to miss making a moment on the carpet, and this absolutely was no miss. With classic punk notions from Westwood that featured an asymmetric skirt, one-shoulder strap and corset bodice, the style perfectly highlighted Swfit’s dynamic music industry presence and ability to turn up the heat every year.

CHRISSY TEIGEN

Taken from Christian Siriano’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection, Chrissy Teigen turned heads as she stepped out in a stunning sheer black gown with husband John Legend. Comprised of a sculptural corseted bodice and exposed boning detail, the look was a testament to Teigen’s signature style as she impressed the rest of us at home. Curated by stylist Alana Van Deraa, the mermaid dress with its voluminous train was accessorised with black statement earrings and a pair of sandal heels to keep her look sharp and clean. With the best of modern design codes and classic luxury, Teigen once again solidified her status as a red carpet icon, and we can’t wait to see what she does next.

SABRINA CARPENTER

The singer on everybody’s lips this year is up next – Sabrina Carpenter. As she graced the event, entering in a feathered powder blue gown by JW Anderson, the ‘Taste’ left in our mouth was nothing short of sweet. The delicate touches added a whimsical hint to the carpet that we’ve grown to love Carpenter for and demonstrated a desire to play to her strengths by keeping things elegant and youthful. With a backless silhouette enhanced by free-falling pearls, her look screamed vintage-realness and showgirl-ready. Her harmonious blend of it all caught the attention of not only us fashion enthusiasts but the world, for she took away two big awards last night in the Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album categories. She may have set the tone high on the carpet, but now her music is one to beat as well.

KELSEA BALLERINI

Finally, the last style on our list came from country singer Kelsea Ballerini, as she arrived in a full look from Tamara Ralph’s fall 2024 couture collection, featuring a plunge neck LBD and a white floor-length satin shawl. Styled by the infamous duo Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, Ballerini’s outfit gave us a contemporary and chic essence that was dressed up by diamond-encrusted accessories and black court heels. The jaw-dropping mini-dress shone before the camera flashes of the carpet as each panel is embellished with elongated glass beads – the ultimate price of luxury. Her choice of attire demonstrated her nuanced understanding of red-carpet fashion with ease and effortlessly delivered a seamless look.
